Dressed in their swim suits, ready to swim and holding hands, looking so sweet! And the next thing you know, we turned our backs on the girls, and they are squirming and fighting!But they make up for it later - both are acting hungry, so they decide to eat each other's faces!

Swimming for the first time!

Last weekend we went away for our very first trip with the girls - to the tiny island of Sentosa! Its about a 3min drive from mainland Singapore, but it definitely still felt like a holiday for us...we stayed at the Rasa Sentosa Shangri La Hotel, which was very nice - we traded in our credit card frequent flyer points for the stay. Anyway we took the girls for their very first swim at the pool. There are some pics below of them looking super cute in their swim suits. Katelyn took to the water like a fish, and Katherine was a little apprehensive but warmed up after a while. Anyway we all had fun in the pool, so we are hoping to make it a regular weekend activity.

Swimming with dolphins

Our twins are having their mid afternoon nap at Aunty Evelyn's:-) They are now 6months old and are can't wait to go swimming. Before we know it i'm sure they will be dreaming of swimming with dolphins!

Nice new clothes

Jon went to an Oshkosh sale and all the outfits were $10 each...so Katelyn is dressed up in her new funky oshkosh outfit, and Katherine is wearing a Peter Rabbit dress from Cilla & Tanweer...our designer twins are looking bewdiful! Unfortunately Katherine looks a little sleepy here as she's just woken up!

Twin pram

Jon's parents bought us a Twin Stroller from Oz...and we've just started using it - the girls are almost 6mths now and they are a little too small for the stroller (they sit on top of pillows), but its a lot more convenient than going out with 2 single prams.

Each day Mum takes them for a walk in the evenings, together with either Grandma, Jon or on rare occassions on the weekend, Grandpa. Usually they will go out in their baby carrier (called Baby Bjorn...kinda like a backpack for holding kids...but they sit in front). Katherine is modelling a very cute Peter Rabbit hat courtesy of Cilla and Tanweer (yes, u guys have good taste!!!).

Here's a pic of the girls in their twin stroller after one of their evening walks! Their bibs are courtesy of Jon's brother, Derek - very handy as they have a thin plastic backing...stopping the dribble going through to their clothes!
