Tea time

The K girls went to visit Aunty Evelyn at her new apartment. They love their afternoon tea's, esp when its outside on a beautiful balcony overlooking the pool! Their mum is training them really well:-)

4 months!

Away with the fairies;) our little belle is 6.25 kg now and is able to turn herself over, and has just started to shuffle along like a slug! She is real cute now, and has a real hearty laugh, kinda like Katelyn :)

I can sit in my Bumbo now!!!

Isabelle has been growing fast and we have to keep telling her to take one step at a time. Her neck is quite strong now, and she can sit in her Bumbo (its a seat for babies!) by herself. Probably from 2.5mths her neck has been strong enough such that she can hold her head up high. Anyway she has already started rolling over too now, so we have to watch out - she has some lightning moves sometimes!

Today we put her in her Bumbo whilst we got ready for Christmas day....below she is sitting next to Katherine, with 2 baubles on her lap!

Katherine decided to read a story to entertain her mei mei (chinese for little sister!)

I keep telling Jeanette that Isabelle is super chilled out...just like her Dad....

Isabelle 3mths Photoshoot

Isabelle is well and truly 3mths old now. We had her weighed and she's now 5.8kg and 61cm long. Pretty good going for a 3mth girl! We are starting to notice some traits now - for example she loves to watch and hear the twins talking and rabbiting on....she also hates to be alone in a room by herself. The other great thing is that she can sleep regardless of the noise level! Even when world war 3 has started between the twins, she can keep snoozing in the same room....remarkable!

So far we've found her very easy going, and at night she can sleep 8-9 hrs straight....which is bliss for us....

Anyway the other day after bathing her, Daddy couldn't resist pulling out the camera and taking some snaps of her chilling out!

The pic below is one of my favourites....in the background is a painting from our favourite aussie artist - David Williams.

Wearing a cute outfit from Jon's bro, Leonard (and Louise!)

This pic is Isabelle's future passport photo!

Thank Goodness for Grandparents

Jeanette's parents are probably the world's best babysitters. Check out the picture below for the proof! Super Grandma managed to put both the twins to sleep on her lap without even moving a finger, and Super Grandad was taking care of Isabelle.

But seriously both Mum and Dad have been full of support and help ever since the twins arrived on the scene. We don't know what we would do without them....

Katelyn looking sooo peaceful (for once she is quiet!!!!)

Random Brekky Pics

Each morning the girls love to eat their breakfast!!!! Katherine ALWAYS eats raisin bread, and it must either be cut into squares or triangles! She's very specific about this....

Katelyn loves her cereals - its usually Weetbix, Rice Bubbles or Cheerios...

The great thing is that they both love their milk - so they always have a glass before heading off to school!

Twins School Christmas Party

Each year at Katelyn and Katherine's child care centre, they have a christmas party where the kids sing a few songs to the adults....last year the twins had huge stage fright, and cried the entire time - they didn't even make it to the stage (its not really a stage - its just an area in front of their playground at the centre), and instead mum and dad were holding them the entire time! This time round, it was slightly better - the twins made it to the procession to the stage, but again got stage fright and they were crying and sobbing during their walk to the 'stage'. Once on stage, they continued to cry and hide at the back! Well at least they have shown some improvement from last year by making it to the stage!

Spot Katelyn the Sadface in the crowd!

A pic of their childcare centre! Very colourful!

And 1hr later after their performance...walking back to the car with mummy, in high spirits after their ordeal!!!!

Da Vinci's in the making!

The girls love to paint, so Jeanette devised a way they could paint outdoors and not get our house messy! Thank goodness for outdoor chairs - it makes the perfect easel! Below the girls are mixing their paints on a beautiful sunday morning...

Katherine painting her masterpiece - she didn't like me interupting her painting session....

Katelyn with her "Mona Lisa". Look at that face of immense concentration...and check out her fantastic painting technique!

Katherine very pleased with her masterpiece! Katelyn still putting the final touches to hers...

Well as the weeks go by, she seems to become rounder! Right now she reminds us of Katelyn, especially with ther plump cheeks! We've also noticed she's starting to lose her hair. Again, some pics after her bath....

Looking cute with her little head poking out of her towel. Daddy please change me!!!

Now i'm dry, please put some clothes on me!

Ah, total bliss, relaxing under my flying geese!

The girls new bikes

The girls love their new bikes. The bikes were Giant brand, and the most expensive ones in the shop - the girls didn't like the feel or look of the cheap ones. Damnit!

Awesome bikes - the low bar means stepping on and off the bike is easy.

Isabelle 6 weeks old!

Isabelle is growing fast - at 6 weeks old she was putting on good weight, and sleeping well at night. Like her t-shirt?!!!!

Relaxing on her bed at night...

Isabelle loves to be entertained, and can't stand being on her own. Her favourite toy is this battery operated mobile - she loves to watch the geese fly around!
